Day 4 – It’s All About Team Work

Granada – It’s amazing to see the progress that we’ve made in the past few days. The local Nicaraguan surgeons have surpassed our expectations and have a better handle on some of the new surgery techniques that we have introduced. We have completed our half-way point of this trip but it’s exciting to see the amazing results that are happening by our dedication to helping the Nicaraguan surgeons and their people.

Day 3 – Full Steam Ahead

Granada – Day 3 of the medical mission to Granada, Nicaragua with Medical Hands for Healing. The day began with another lecture from Dr. Avellanet. She went into more details on the gynecological surgery that they are performing to give theĀ  local Nicaraguan physicians additional education and training. Medical Hands for Healing is very proud to have these high quality medical professionals that volunteered on this trip because they have risen to the challenges that occur in these international medical missions with excellence. Not only do these volunteers come with big hearts but their professionalism and skills stand out. Talking to the local Nicaraguan physicians and hearing how grateful they are that we are here teaching and working with them on these advanced procedures makes it all worth it.
